Who owns and operates Kellogg Springs Camp?
Kellogg Springs Camp and Conference Center is owned and operated by the ORPAC District Church of the Nazarene.
Is the camp open year-round?
Yes, Kellogg Springs is a year-round facility.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Unless otherwise arranged when your reservation is made, arrival time is 4:00pm and departure time is 12:00 noon. Any changes to these times must be approved by the camp office prior to arrival.
How much does it cost to rent Kellogg Springs?
Fees are determined on a group-by-group basis. We take into account the number of participants in your group, the number of lodging nights, and the number of meals prepared.
Are there alternative lodging options available?
Yes, we have an 8 space RV park with full hookups and tent spaces available.
What do I need to bring?
Guests attending camps, retreats, or conferences at Kellogg Springs need to furnish their own towels, pillows, and sleeping bags or bed linens (beds are twin or queen throughout the camp).
Will my group have the entire camp to ourselves?
Depending on the size of your group, it is possible that you will be sharing the facility with one or more other groups. Separate meeting areas and sleeping areas will be clearly assigned. Dining facilities will be shared; meal times can be staggered if previously arranged.
How do you accommodate for special dietary needs?
Food Service personnel at Kellogg Springs will work to meet all dietary needs (gluten, lactose, allergies, etc.), however, specific preferences or diet plans cannot be addressed. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet each request. No private food can be prepared in our kitchen area due to cross-contamination. We are not an allergen-free kitchen. A refrigerator and microwave are available for our groups.
Is there Internet access and cell phone reception at Kellogg Springs?
Kellogg Springs provides Wi-Fi access to all guests. Cell phone reception is limited on the campground, but you are welcome to use cell phones. Verizon seems to work best.
We have a few individuals in our group that smoke… Can they come?
Of course! Kellogg Springs does not allow smoking in any buildings, only in designated areas on the campground. Guests who choose to smoke in these areas are expected to pick up after themselves.
Can I bring my pet to camp?
No dogs or other pets, except service animals, are allowed. If you are staying in the RV Park, pets can be kept inside or on a leash. Owners are fully responsible and liable for behavior and actions of pets and, of course, for clean-up.
What are the prohibited items?
Kellogg Springs does not allow: alcoholic beverages, controlled substances, candles, cutting of trees, pornographic material, or fireworks on the property. Any violations will result in immediate fines and the possible forfeit of future lease opportunities at Kellogg Springs Camp and Conference Center.
Does Kellogg Springs provide medical supervision?
Kellogg Springs does not provide medical supervision, treatment, maintenance, or dispensing of medications for guests. These responsibilities belong to your group. You should designate a qualified adult to provide basic health supervision. The guest group coordinator should supply a list of participants that includes: names, addresses, emergency contact information, and known allergies or health conditions to the camp office upon arrival.
What if there is a serious injury or illness?
The area of Kellogg has a fire department that can respond very quickly. A larger hospital is located in Roseburg, OR (26 miles south).
Emergency transportation is available through local emergency response groups by dialing 9-1-1. Payment for the cost of emergency transportation is the responsibility of the guest group. The guest group agrees to furnish non-emergency transportation.
